Our response to Covid-19

I wanted to personally update you about what we are doing at MAiK to ensure that you still get your online deliveries during the pandemic in accordance with the latest government advice and restrictions.

Packing Your Orders

We use a wonderful fulfilment company in Scotland that store our products and pack our orders. Throughout this pandemic, we have been in daily contact with them to decide whether we can carry on sending out online orders. Keeping their team safe is a priority for us and if they decide at any point that they have to close temporarily, they have our full support. 

They have adapted how they work to make sure they are following the latest government guidelines. Changes have been made to ensure social distancing guidelines can be maintained throughout the day and individual packing zones have been created for each pick and pack operator. Additional deep cleaning is taking place. 

Deliveries

At the time of writing, Royal Mail and Parcel Force are still operating and your deliveries will be posted as usual. We have been told that standard post might take a little longer due to lower staff numbers. 

Royal Mail is minimising contact during delivery.  They will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures but instead log the name of the person accepting the item. 

We are still shipping to the EU but these deliveries will take longer. We have temporarily stopped shipping to the rest of the world as we are expecting delays of 6 - 12 weeks. 

Gift Messages, Gift Cards and Free Shipping

We know that people want to send presents to the people they love during this time of isolation so we have added the option to include a Gift Message in the shopping cart. This message will be printed on the dispatch note. 

Today we added Gift Cards to our website so that you can give someone the gift of choice. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. They are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. 

For UK customers we are offering free shipping on all orders. Use the code ‘FREESHIPUK’ at checkout.
