Interview - Rosie of LFA Agency

Q: What does a typical day at work involve?
I usually arrive between 8.30 and 9am. When I come in I usually chat (distract) Cecilie for 15 mins and we discuss what Milo has been up to in the past 12 hours. The rest of the team come in at 9am. On a Monday we have a whole team meeting to run through each client, coverage they have had, pending coverage and what needs to be done that week. After that we get to work. I usually have an avacado on toast from the cafe upstairs about 10.30. I try not to get bogged down with emails so try and write a to-do list and stick to it. I am trying to focus more on team management and strategy during work hours instead of at my weekends so this is becoming my main focus daily For lunch I nip to the food stalls outside our office in Borough - I have a loyility card with the Thai place. In the afternoon I might have individual meetings with the team to discuss certain aspects like marketing focus, new services or process. I usually go home about 6ish but on the odd occation I’ll work late and have a glass of wine and dinner in the office (usually with Cecilie).
Q: What was your first job?
My first ever job was a dog walker at a kennels and then I was upgraded to Head of Cattery. My first ‘proper’ job was LFA.
Q: What is the key lesson you have learnt running your business?
Listen to what your customer wants otherwise you are stabbing in the dark AND your business is only as good as your team.
Q: What has been your proudest moment so far?
That great brands see something special in LFA and how we do PR and choose to want to work with us.
Q: What is one item you can’t live without?
Milo. He keeps me sane and is always loyal.
Q: Dog or cat?!
I have both but since Milo is my one item I can’t be without…..
Q: What is your favourite MAiK Product?
Placemats! The Pinwheel design!
